Hi again folks,

Just got up from a much deserved rest after spending 26 straight hours traveling. I'm exhausted, but I think I have a new respect for how bad and good airlines can be.

Continental lost our baggage on the Manchester - Glasgow leg, but the next morning it was waiting downstairs in the B&B we stayed in, having been mailed by the airline. In any event, I might eventually get around to telling the whole story about Scotland if you ask real nicely.

In any event, when I log on a couple minutes ago, I see at the top of the poetry thread "Calling all SI Writers"(not a proper quote, but I won't bother about capitalization if you won't) I thought "Great! I write narrative better than I write poetry"

Then I begin reading of the adventures of Bilbo and start smiling for the first time today, which is difficult, considering I had a case of insomnia last night and went to sleep at six A.M. , only sleeping for four hours after a day-long bought of traveling. I'm feeling quite weary at the moment.

In closing, (and I am closing, for I feaar I'm beginning to ramble) Hello again to all those I've missed while I was away, and all those I haven't yet met on this thread.
