John,
I was just examining the AMTX chart, and getting excited about the reverse head & shoulder formation being formed, when I ran into your post. The formation so far is looking very bullish. Notice the daily range narrow in the shoulder (very narrow thus far today) as well as volume slackening off (very "slack thus far today'). The fact that the right neckline ran, and pulled back, at the 50 dma is also bullish as a break through 16.125 would give more credence to the move. A break of the H&S would coincide w/a break of some important L/T trendlines. Finally, all of the L/T oscillators are ready to pop and give nice signals. It also adds up to a lot of potential...
I agree w/you that would could slip back into the mid-30's. But, so far, we have held the 13.75 level nicely. As long as we slip back on light volume I'm OK. Else, it could mean a more protracted pull-back.
So far so good, though.

Wade
