Yes, we are in an escalation phase and that's because everybody knows we won't stick our necks out.

We've had the undisputed most powerful military in the world since 1945 yet everybody knows we won't use it unless it's for a small regional thing. Even then we won't use it if it could even possibly lead to something more
unpredictable. MacArthur wanted to use some small nukes in Korea to get the Chinese to back off, but that would have upset people and we couldn't have that.

Now we've got NATO right on Russia's border, but we won't go to war with Russia if they take those countries or not.

The Chinese haven't stopped N. Korea from building nukes and ICBMs, but the Chinese seriously object to us putting missile defense systems in S. Korea. So we probably won't do it...

Our NATO "Allies" in Europe don't even have any serious military capabilities because they don't have to. A U.S. General just said that the British couldn't even put together a Brigade let alone a Division. Same thing with the Germans and French.

We are getting Screwed by our Enemies AND our Friends.

Young people in the U.S. want to get free medical care, free college, and a higher wage for people with no skills. They even have a candidate that's promising just that.

This ain't gonna turn out well....
