Semi2K - Re: "Do you think QCOM mania is over done? " Of course - but Qualcomm has the "potential" to be in 5 or 10 years what A T & T was in the 1940's, 50's and 60's. " I know Nokia is an excellent company - and its manufacturing capability may be a good counterpart to Qualcomm - which wants to get OUT of the manufacturing end (of handsets, at least). Re: "And finally with DSP purchase do you think INTC will start making any inroads to CDMA technology? " I sure as heck HOPE SO ! Don't forget - Intel is working on StrongARM/DSP enhancements as well as a DSP development with Analog Devices (ADI). Hopefully, Intel has a plan or a roadmap to bring these designs together to provide some attractive processors/communications chips for advanced convergence of cell phones/hand held PC-communications devices. And to repeat - I SURE HOPE SO! Paul
