tekboy, I am going to buy the biggest, baddest Dell laptop and dockin station I can afford so that it serves as both my home system and my portable. That way I can carry everything with me to keep up with Quicken, etc., lowering my fumble and maint time. RE: Cable modem vs DSL. I have had @home for almost 1 year and have absolutely NO complaints. Speed is great. Can't believe your cable company is still recieve only on their broadband network. They are not ready for prime time and don't deserve your money, the cheapskates!
