The airlines are in real trouble. I gave up most flying as it was too unpleasant except for when I'd get there really early and pay $150 to get a first class seat to Maui. There is fairly inexpensive technology to make airlines safe... run the air through filters with strong UVC lights blasting on the air and the filter media inside the filter (the light can cause cancer) to keep it really clean and virus free. The cruise ships will probably have to do the same. Probably a good idea to see who makes the LEDs for this but my guess is many Chinese companies will get into it... but I'd want to trust something like the Lumileds spinoff from the HP division I used to work at over a Chinese company to make a product that didn't go kaput while in use and then subject the company to liability.
