You are right ... these land claims SHOULD BE RESOLVED... ALREADY... my family's business in Montreal was expropriated in for the Guy Favreau Project..... they got reimbursed (would have made more holding on and selling much later) and moved on... that's life...

Why does Guy Favreau ring a bell.... the joys of old age, it is on the tip of my mind......

well nothing is simple in 'peaceful' demonstrations...

Today there was a union demonstrating against a decision that would allow it's US parent to take it over.. They blocked all the roads to the hospitals in downtown... They had to be 'asked' to allow one lane free for Ambulances.... Would be simpler to just arrest them all for putting sick folks at risk...

make them liable for damages. If teachers go on strike, then both the school board members and the individual teachers should be liable for damages. Same thing with these bozos if someone dies because they were blocking the lane, make them liable criminally and financially.

We seem to have a problem of accountability in Ontario particularly. No one brings up the money spent on Rain forests for Ontario Hydro. No one brings up the problem that the premiers of Ontario used Hydro jobs to reward their friends, and no we are paying for it. Someone is responsible for this problem in Caledon not being settled. We need a royal inquiry to find out who it is or was and to hold them accountable.
