Where is all the inflation today. I guess everyone is more interested in housing deflation and the good values in the financial sector than the inflationary trends in the commodity market. I was quite concerned about this the past week, since an abrupt change in interest rates down to 2% would likely cast some doubts for the commodoty bull. Being invested in oil stocks, I can say one thing - the refiners and integrated companies should do well. The production companies have hardly gone up with the price of oil either. In fact, the negative stock market has created such a divergence between the price of oil and the oil companies, maybe this is just another buying opportunity.
