The way I remember it SI was looking for a person with Oracle 8i experience, Bob answered that ad, or rather put in another way, at the time that SI was looking for there first hire outside of Jeff Dryer, his brother and Jill, Bob who was a poster on SI was hired.
True enough, he became SI(Bob) immediately, but I always thought that this was done to give Jill more time for personal and more important administrative projects.
And let me hasten to add this has nothing to do with personalities, but the same ego, pettiness, vindictiveness, and lack of direction which cause companies to fail, cause BBS sysops to post more that the members, suspend reality, devolve in to a power trip, and cause BBS's to become irrelevant. |
