Let me ask you this, would of it made a difference? Could you then say
it was because I was a JW. No, I am nothing more then a fundamentalist
in its truest form, SPEC. reader. We take the Bible literally as it is
written. We don't plug in or justify or revise what it says. If it says
us that is the way we see it. And when God tell Jesus don't do it. That
is the way we see it. We don't do a whole lot of jumping up and down &
a whole lot of hocus pocus and this and that. We take are GOD and Jesus
very seriously. We also know that he is not God and God is not him in the
physical sense. We also know that the flood wasn't 40 days or nights and
it rained for several months.

Have you been taught that? If not then your church hasn't been honest
and teaching the word of God let alone Jesus.
