I was at the meeting Tuesday night. The overheads did go quickly, but I feel your comments were right on also. THANK YOU for taking the time to summarize and let cooler heads prevail. I have been following this board for months, and trying to get past the "attitudes" and "opinions" of people who probably don't know any more that I do then pulling out the facts is not easy and sometimes even scary! Some of us work 80 hour weeks and do need the help of our "friends" to try and save some time investigating potential stocks.
I would also like to extend thanks to EVERYONE who took part in making the meeting a reality. To Joe Murphy, John Adams, and Larry Shatsoff for taking time out of there busy schedule to fly to Dayton, OH and share their vision. To Joe Medsker and his staff for asking Joe Murphy to come, and arranging things with the hotel so attendees could get a bite to eat and have a place to sleep if necessary. To you Raleigh for taking time out of your busy schedule to come, I believe you gave a small impromptu talk to try and simplify what went on. Some of us out here, as you put it, still think a "monitor" is a lizard though we try our best to keep up with the 90's. And last but not least thanks to Brad for his efforts to bring in a big turn out, helping with the arrangements, being the host with the most, and for worrying for all of us when Joe Murphy was stuck in Detroit.
All's well that ended well. Maybe I'm easy to impress, but those of you unable to make it really missed out. Three cheers to all involved!
