Yes. Import tads are just like their normal domestic TADs, but the seller is an overseas company. The credit of the buyer is key.

International TADs will require a different clearing system. In stead of the US bank clearing system The TADs will be cleared through the international bank clearing system. Actrade will not operate in every country. Only thoes countries where they have legal recourse.

What is the impact. By the end of June 1998, there will be international TAD sales, but how much is anyone's guess.

This potentially can be much bigger than Actrade's domestic TAD business. The international TADs are similar to Bills of Exchange, but the paperwork is Actrade's. There is more to it than this, so call Mitch at 212-563-1036, ext.239 and ask him.
