ECOS Group Announces Revolutionary Contract MIAMI LAKES, Fla., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ECOS Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ECOS - news) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Evans Environmental & Geosciences (EE&G), has received authorization from the City of Miami to proceed with the $218,000 implementation of the final remedial action alternative for the Wynwood Brownfields Site in Miami. EE&G will be performing the design/build of the approved remediation alternative, which represents the final stage of a $425,000 Brownfields Redevelopment Grant that was awarded by the State of Florida to the City of Miami, who subsequently contracted EE&G to complete the project. This project represents a significant achievement for the City of Miami and EE&G in that it will be one of the first such official Brownfields showcase projects completed in the state of Florida. This project represents a successful cooperative effort between EE&G, the City of Miami, the developer (Atwater Brownfields Group), the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the Metro Dade Department of Environmental Resources Management.
