Bush-McCain's formula in Iraq is a big loser. Any rational person would know when you find yourself deep in a hole you don't keep digging, you climb out. Exactly what Bush's father's top advisors told him, but he didnd't listen. McCain was so obsessed with winning the South Carolina primary (the most pro war state in the US) that he forgot common sense. Bush-cheney meanwhile are after the big oil deals in Iraq, then they could give a damn about anything else. It was all about an extra trillion for Exxon, chevron, Halliburton and BP.
