think outside the GTA, to the northern first nation communities, who have existed for longer than the GTA.

Or the people whose native ancestors were women stripped of their heritage because they married white men. I have relatives who look like natives, and are treated like natives, but have none of the rights or benefits..... I remember my Grandmother's quiet rage at her native relatives, she tried to get to know them early in her life, they slammed the door in her face.
