Just talked to a friend of mind who's a purchasing manager for a small ($100M/yr) tech company. Though all capex is on hold, the ceo made an exception for an ntap f820c filer, which he said the company had to have! That's good news. My buddy contacted ntap's sales rep and got a firm quote, but when he wouldn't commit to an order on the spot, he was offered a significant discount if he would take delivery this quarter. That's bad news, since he would have ordered it anyway. He did place the order for immediate delivery. That's good news. It's a mixed bag, but a small ray of hope... uf
