I can imagine that's generally true. Neither are they all that keen on people like Horie of Livedoor using foreign money to do buyouts and sortings out of local companies. He is currently on trial for some dredged up charges which seem flimsy at best.

Meanwhile, Livedoor profits continue to do well, which pleases we shareholders.

It doesn't surprise me that the English and Scottish might like to snigger at the USA, which lacks their aristocratic roots. We colonials are always disparaged by the centre of the Empire, has-been though it is. Especially the USA and especially with King George II making an easy target.

I won't be in a hurry to join the exodus to London, Shanghai and Hong Kong, none of which I think are as good as the USA which gaols evil-doing corporate management on a regular basis.

Though I understand they seriously think a tectonic shift might be under way.
