Robert,

Or do you perfer Bob?

I learned assembler by disassembling 6502 code. Actually I was writing a Black Scholes modeling program for Apple][+ that pulled it data from DJNS. Try doing that in 32K!!

I should have been loading up on Microsoft stock (I was using their Applesoft Basic complier) !!!

The stuff we were trying to do at work with IBM PC Model 1s (no hard disk) was equally as challenging.

We also wrote a terminal emulation program for a Lear Seigler ADM-42 operating in block mode (don't ask why!!!).

Yes, those were the days.

Seems Steve, you, and I have a common background.

Back to stocks... have you visited the KLIC thread. I would be interested in your opinion of the stock. They are killing their competitors with market share growing year by year. They are making a lot of smart moves.

Later..
