Clark wants the former, although he waxed lyrical about the conduct of the war in Afghanistan and Iraq at the time. Now, of course, he is full of criticism. How could anyone seriously criticize the actual conduct of either war? It is the AFTERMATH that so many warned against, which Sullivan surely knows. He is at his worst when he tosses off such bitchy comments.
