George, you posted an excellent insight about how falling/low lease rates are bad for gold stocks. Since then I've monitored lease rates on Kitco, and noticed today that they are headed up again after quite a downturn. Which lease rate do you put the most faith in (e.g., 1 mo, 1 year, etc.) and what level would you say the lease rates are a bullish sign? (e.g., 1 mo lease rate greater than x%).

Also, are you aware of any bear funds that do well in market downturns. Am looking for a mutual fund for my IRA's since can't short or buy puts.

Regards,

JI
