That seems pretty clear to me. If the founding fathers had wanted to say something more about religion, they would have.

In any case, it seems like the idea of separation of church and state was something new when the founding fathers wrote the Constitution. It didn't seem like any other country had ever tried it before.

It seems like that was a terrific idea. Not only that, but it seems like its working. We have more people believing in God and going to church than anywhere else on earth. And, we don't have to kill each in order to do that.

Why change it?
