Dear Mr. Coleman:

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Since it seems the only way you can get any attention is to write "scathing articles" about your fellow Americans with whom you disagree or otherwise feel threatened, here's my suggestion: Start your own blog Mr. Coleman.

Unshackle yourself from the lost......er......I mean "Mainstream Media."

Why burden yourself any longer with having to defend your reputation and the sorry associations you've made in your career? Don't you find it rather denigrating to have to do so time and time again? Or maybe the underlying purpose of writing your little pieces, that appear to most readers as abstract mosaics and generally cause one to wonder: is this guy for real, is that what you really seek is the honor of being considered righteous?

Here's something to ponder: The idea behind blogging is fisking:

en.wikipedia.org

Fisking Fisking, or "to Fisk", refers to the act of deconstructing, often in minute detail, an article, essay, argument, etc. with the intent of challenging its conclusion or theses by highlighting supposed logical fallacies and incorrect facts. The practice was named in honor of British journalist Robert Fisk after he issued a dispatch from Pakistan describing his savage beating at the hands of Afghan refugees and expressing his opinion that, if he were in their position, he would have treated any Westerner the same. The term first appeared on either of the web logs instapundit.com or andrewsullivan.com.

Fisking can be thought of as a side effect of the way blogs as social software behave. Compare this to the Usenet style of responding to an argument line by line by replying to a message while quoting the original message with >'s in the left column.

You might find it much more rewarding and challenging to actually do a little investigative work...freeing yourself from that desk so to speak......by actually getting out into the real word and talking to someone other than the copy boy/girl that runs your errands or your editor, Tim McGuire who's one shining claim to fame is fighting the cause of eliminating Indian names from sports teams. The Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds and the Atlanta Braves still exist...whats with that?

If campaigning for votes in the recent Wizbang Best Blog contest is called shilling for votes what do you call what the democrats did in Florida in 2000 and just recently in Washington state?

I'm afraid you're stuck in a quagmire Mr. Coleman. I'm sure you've heard about people having to go back to school in order to modernize or otherwise brush up on their skills in order to better compete? May I suggest it is way past time that you consider doing so?
