The only way Republicans have won elections since Nixon has been to so debase the debate and the process as to cause most of the electorate to stay home in discouragement and disgust. At this point in a presidents second term the opposing party normally picks up substantial seats in congress. If that doesn't happen this time, then the current Republican party line, and the attack on Clinton, are failures. We get to see in a few weeks. Cheers, Chaz
