Sources say that in order to bite a share in the low-cost phones pie, Apple will launch 'economically friendly' iPhone in June that will offer best value for money. This includes smart phone features such as 'gesture-based' technology.

IF RUMORS are to be believed, Apple Inc is planning to roll out low cost iPhones to capture the low cost phones market in the coming weeks.

Appleinsider says that the high-end iPhone has limited reach due to its price tag making it a popular device only for the top-end users. Whereas the low cost phones market remains mostly in the hands of companies like Nokia, offering some of the cheapest selling phones in the market.

Sources say that in order to bite a share in the low-cost phones pie, Apple will launch 'economically friendly' iPhone in June that will offer best value for money. This includes smart phone features such as 'gesture-based' technology at a pocket friendly price.

The question remains, if low cost iPhone would also give way to a low-cost 3G service in near future? According to sources, bringing down iPhone prices will also help Apple earn greater revenue with its apps selling market. On an average every iPhone user buys one app per month. And bringing low cost iPhone means multiplying the revenues earned by app sales too.

The fast-evolving smart phone market will soon change the way technology is used by common people across the world. The technological edge limited to high end users might become common in the months to come.
