Call me paranoid, but I want to know why Snyder is the most oft-quoted analyst on QCOM. He hated the stock in 1998, when it was trading at 4 times this years earnings. He somehow feels he was vindicated in 2000, in the process missing the ride from 6 to 81 as of 4:00 Friday. And yet at every earnings announcement, at every options expiration, this guy is out with a pee-all-over-the-company research note or a television appearance or both. Its like he stalks this stock, like a sicko stalks a little girl. I can't recall any other analyst that is so slavishly consulted about a company at every turn. Why is this? Does he call CNBC every quarter and ask to be on? Does CNBC call him? Inquiring minds want to know. And also want to know why this mouseprick Pee Wee Herman lookalike who had a hold on this stock when it was at 6, and who never even shows up on the cc to ask a question, is considered by CNBC to be such an expert on QCOM to the exclusion of Cena, Roberts,Pflau, Luke and others.
