Look at this chart of New Home Sales since 1989: briefing.com Recession of 1990 is very visible. Slowdown of 1994 is visible as well. A bubble from 1995 on is very pronounced. But there is NO sign of recession in 2001-2002. So, the REAL recession has NOT started yet ... but the stock market always anticipates a recession well before it starts ...
