Whew...what a long list of fallen angels. Been going over past movers, holdings, winners from long ago in February, and putting together a very long list of bargains to revisit once this hari-kari is over. Is the Internet finished, dead, kaput? Is American technology going down the toilet? Do my children maybe have a future that includes genomics, wireless, satellites, and a hundred innovations not even heard of yet? Is this an election year? Did the Y2K bug crash all systems? I remember
standing outside Schwab hq in SFO on Oct. 19, 1987, asking very much the same sort of questions. Was that the time to buy, or sell??? This is a very emotional, painful selloff where we are throwing out the babies with the bathwater, but believe me, many of those babies will walk, run and dance some day! The stellar performers of this past year will be coming back strong if they improve life on this planet. Pax vobiscum.
