Whew...what a long list of fallen angels. Been going over past movers, holdings, winners from long ago in February, and putting together a very long list of bargains to revisit once this hari-kari is over. Is the Internet finished, dead, kaput? Is American technology going down the toilet? Do my children maybe have a future that includes genomics, wireless, satellites, and a hundred innovations not even heard of yet? Is this an election year? Did the Y2K bug crash all systems? I remember
standing outside Schwab hq in SFO on Oct. 19, 1987, asking very much the same sort of questions. Was that the time to buy, or sell??? This is a very emotional, painful selloff where we are throwing out the babies with the bathwater, but believe me, many of those babies will walk, run and dance some day!
