I wondered about a memory problem. When I open task manager it shows what I think is very heavy memory usage for both Firefox and Adobe Flash. I don't know what "normal" should look like, so I may be wrong. I'm on my laptop right now, but will check the memory angle in the morning when I get to my desktop. Thanks for the idea!!
