jack, yes, scripture has the power... allot of the unsaved don't like you adding the John 3:16 part. they turn off as soon as you say John 3:16. but, if you just say the words, they are find with that and it has the power....power in the words nt the book and number. I don't think the book and number was added until several hundred yrs ago. that's why Jesus never said ISiah 54:3 and then read off what it said, He Prefered the prophet Isiah saith" "<gg> You and Shalom will put a scripture with every word I said...since I have a scripture I know it's there. I think in the epistles Paul once said "somewhere it is written" <ggggggg> God Bless.
