With the drop we've had, I don't think we'll be retracing our way back into the 50's anytime soon. At this point, investors are skittish about the techs. There have been earnings shortfalls and some negative news lately about equipment growth going into 1998. AMAT will not have any serious rally until after its CC and its projections for '98. Stocks that fall 30%+ percent rarely rebound without some significant news to propel them forward. It's all in the call. Here's hoping for a good one on the 20th- we need it at this point. JMO Brian
