Don - I guess that I am just showing my cynicism with respect to the stock market as a whole. We all know that many of the analysts covering WIND also work for the same companies that make a market in WIND's stock (Prudential, CSFB, etc.). We also know that these same analysts upgrade and downgrade the stock, appearing to act irrationally at times (snicker, snicker).

For example, didn't the Frost analyst reiterate his buy after the ABN AMRO downgrade and then downgrade himself after earnings were released - in the same week!??? - and I don't buy the argument that he had additional info/guidance from the company after earnings to base the downgrade - read what he had to say in both cases....

Be it pure paranoia or closer to reality, I believe that the analysts act in their (company's) best interest and not for the benefit of the average investor.
