I'd like to know if you or anybody else reading this thread has any additional thoughts about O'Shaugnessy's Reasonable Runaways strategy versus the Cornerstone Growth strategy. Reasonable Runaways seems a bit simplistic to me. By that, I mean that just because a business can generate sales doesn't mean it will become profitable. Just take Internet stocks for example; many of them will never be profitable if they stick with today's business model, IMO.

Does anybody have personal experience using O'Shaughnessy's strategies? Any pitfalls or success stories?

I just read How to Retire Rich but haven't read What Works on Wall Street. If anybody has read both books please let us know whether the latter is better, worse, or otherwise worth a look.

Thanks!
