Iridium's ' nearest competitor ' mentioned is ICO Global Communications, a London-based satellite company that hopes to raise about $350 million from an upcoming IPO. They are trying to put up a system that will have a simular function - global phone communications. Teledesic's satellites will be used for an entirely different function - direct communications with the internet at awesome speeds. Now many of Iridiums sponser's have come on board at Teledesic. Since Celestri(motorola) has merged with Teledesic as the chief contractor it has been my hope that Exigent would announce a large contract for the Command and Control of this project. Perhaps they are waiting for their application to the Nasdaq to clear before making a news release. Or perhaps the way the share price is acting, they aren't going to be accepted on the Nasdaq and their participation in Celestri hasn't followed through to Teledesic. Time will tell, but for right now I'm trying to scrape up some more cash. Dave
