Hi Jim. You are correct, its not just about momentum, but that is the over-riding principle involved. I've always thought index and sector fund switching was an interesting way to trade.I'm just taking what you do to the extreme...almost a daytraders mentality to sector fund trading. I think its an interesting concept,rather unique as far as I know.Of course Profunds and Rydex make it much easier to do. I'm trying to push the envelope of mutual fund trading to fill a niche I feel has not been met. There are many people who would like to take a more agressive approach with their money but do not want to trade with a broker or be tied to a computer all day watching quotes.
