<<So according to that logic the wife of a professor in astro-physics should be running NASA because she has experience in such things as stellar dynamics and evolution; galaxy formation; magnetohydrodynamics; large-scale structure of matter in the Universe; origin of cosmic rays; general relativity and physical cosmology, including string cosmology and astroparticle physics.>>

Not the same thing. Can't compqre physics to politics. I was in politics for about 30 years. My ex is married to a man who was Majority leader of our legislature. She was his adviser on a constant basis.

And they had and went to parties constantly where politics was discussed constantly.

My older daughter is married to a physics professor at a university in the northwest. They do not talk physics.

When Hillary was still in college she worked on Goldwaters campaigna and worked for the congress as I recall. So she has been in politics her whole life.

Hillary has much, much more political experience than rice and is twice as smart.

And last, no self respecting person would have helped bush get into that bullshit war in Iraq.
