Jim- Thanks for the article you pasted. A great article for someone like myself that is not up to speed on 'wireless' technologies. Especially OFDM. I'm slightly confused by your statement above.

When you say the USA is 'wired', you are definitely correct. It's comparably well wired in terms of the access network only. ie, twisted copper, coaxial, and apparently a decent amount of fiber. BUT isn't anything concerning xOFDM all directly related to LANs? In other words, the value an xOFDM solution brings to the table, the US as well as any nation could take advantage of, right?

Or another way to put it. xOFDM has nothing to do with replacing access lines(twisted pair, coaxial, fiber), right? Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
