so i sends old SI tech support (their term, not mine) an email (as they request and suggest) when the squid error stuff started yesterday... here's what it said: "the squid is wrapping its tentacles around classic today... and around beta too. ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved While trying to retrieve the URL: si4.go2net.com:81/~wsapi/investor/preview The following error was encountered: Zero Sized Reply Squid did not receive any data for this request. Generated Sat, 16 Oct 1999 16:39:49 GMT by si4.go2net.com (Squid/2.1.PATCH1)" and darned if i don't get a reply from them late this morning... "Greetings, We will be looking into this for you. Thank you for contacting our customer service group. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in the future. Patrick" that's rich. We will be looking into this for you. :) mark
