Awhile ago, I posted about this and it's happened enough times that it is not an anomaly.

I have a Dell laptop, which I use about as much as my iPad Mini. If I pick up the Mini while I have the laptop on my lab and either touch the laptop with the Mini or get it near the keyboard, the laptop screen immediately goes to black and it shuts off.

When I turn it back on, I get the message that the laptop turned off illegally and it goes to Safe Mode.

Anyone have any ideas?
