TA:

Since November 2000, NTAP has been unable to sustain any move over its 50-day moving average. That's the top of the trendline; currently at 11. I made the mistake of not lightening up the last time we hit that declining average, at 16. siliconinvestor.com

I have to decide whether to unload my 2003s if we hit 11, or hold out for 16. The last 3 weeks has the feel of a bottom (at least an intermediate bottom, which will take several months to take out). I need to do some tax-loss selling before year-end, but I have some EMC shares I bought at 28 and 22 which will work nicely for that (ng). Any particular reason NTAP is up, other than random volatility? I haven't heard any good news or analyst upgrades lately (remember what those are?).
