John, More seriously more information never hurts to have in dealing with institutions. I gave you the DLC equipment lead in that spirit. Your real problem is getting DSL service of any kind available in your local CO. You may be in a pickle there given your location. It seems that the whole state of Maine is still black on the service maps that I have seen today at the web sites of the CLECs. I am sorta lucky in that Covad is open for business in my local CO. Now to "fight the good fight" of that damn distance limitation. A task for after the holidays...
