I am more exercised over the apparently cavalier attitude of those who disposed of the cat. The Wal-Mart didn't have any more efficient weapons than a pellet gun?

I had a stray mangy cat hanging out on my property in the 50s. Could not be caught. I killed it with a round from a 22 rifle. Sounds like a similar situation here.

You may be offended by my action and by that of the Wal Mart people. That's an acceptable POV.

My point is that escalating this to an arrest on a Federal charge is outrageous. And it's being done because of PC.
