First Tennessee National Corporation And Bill Payment System Using InteliData's Interpose(TM) System

RESTON, Va., July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- InteliData Technologies Corp.
(Nasdaq: INTD), a leader in Internet banking and bill payment technology,
today announced that First Tennessee National Corporation (NYSE: FTN)
initiated a customer launch of the bank's advanced generation in-house
Internet banking and bill payment solution using InteliData's Interpose(TM)
software.
First Tennessee, with assets of $19 billion and headquarters in Memphis,
Tenn., is a national, diversified financial services institution providing
banking and other financial services to its customers through various regional
and national lines of business. First Tennessee installed the latest
generation of InteliData's Interpose(TM) Transaction Engine and Interpose(TM)
Payment Warehouse products for core transaction processing and to capture
consumer bill payment information. The InteliData solution also provides
support for popular personal financial management (PFM) software such as
Microsoft Money(R) and Intuit's Quicken(R).
First Tennessee customers are able to access accurate, real-time account
information and pay bills electronically using standard HTML browsers via the
First Tennessee Internet Web site at www.firsttennessee.com. Customers can
access real-time bank account information and pay bills via a variety of
software options.
First Tennessee will also use the Interpose Payment Warehouse to capture
consumer bill payment information, allowing the bank to process "on-us"
payments internally and to least-cost route other payments to third-party bill
payment processors.
