Jonathan, I too find QRS quite volatile and use an 'average' of QRS for 6 different points in time. This is shown in the following table of 20 top performers as of 4-15-99. In this report you can see the QRS for each stock shown for 12m ago, 6m ago, 3m ago, 1m ago, 1week ago and the current QRS. Also shown is the computed average QRS which is far less volatile. As you can see, there is good correlation between these LARGE CAP, Qav=99 stocks, and my computed 'Value' for each stock. This fades for the smaller stocks among the other thousands of stocks in the QP2 database.
