Are you saying that adding trillions of tonnes of it to our atmosphere won't make much of a difference? It's spurring more plant growth. That's a difference. The claim it's affecting the weather doesn't stand up to scrutiny .. at least not yet.

The stuff I've read doesn't seem to agree with that and I make a point of trying to read UNBIASED material. Everything has a bias.

Can you give me a list of the major and minor greenhouse gases? Water vapor is #1. But why should I, you've been reading all these unbiased material. I should ask you for the list.

What about methane? I assume the biggest source of methane (besides cows and us) could be the melting of permafrost in Siberia. Lately we seem to be seeing a rash of sinkholes in Siberia. I assumed that was because the planet was heating up a bit. The same reason that many home owners in Alaska suddenly find their house foundations becoming a bit unstable.

Don't forget termites and rotting plants. And garbage dumps. About cows, they're not much different, digestively, than their wild cousins, buffalo and other big herbivores. Digestively, yeah, it's a word.

As for Siberian permafrost, remember it's been warmer than this before for long periods .... during the Medieval Warm Period, the Holocene Optimum. Hey, James Hansen just recently said the interglacial period just prior to the one we're living in (the Holocene) was warmer than this one. If those warmer periods didn't trigger a mass release of planet destroying methane from the permafrost, why get scared it's about to happen now?

You need to give me more than just telling me that CO2 concentrations don't really matter. Stay tuned, I post a lot on this stuff and you can learn from it. Do CO2 concentrations matter? Not right now. Someday maybe at much higher concentrations .. I can't rule it out. But we're not in a warmth crisis now.
