SQL Star International has made an investment in Solution Technology International Inc. (STI); a Delaware Corporation based in Maryland, USA. STI is building and deploying a Web-based process infrastructure for insurance providers that ties traditionally separated front-end applications and back-office legacy systems into cost reducing straight-through-processing modules. These modules help consumers understand and purchase insurance products and services and also manage them after purchase. STI calls this infrastructure DirectINSURE©.
Through DirectINSURE© ? STI proposes to function in the market place as an Insurance Delivery Systems Provider ? not to sell insurance themselves, but to make the selling of insurance easier and more profitable for its client-partners. SQL Star has integrated operations in ERP Consulting, Software Development and Education with primary focus on Internet technologies within the Health and Insurance sectors.
The investment of 7.5% stake in Solution Technology International Inc. (STI), gives SQL Star the opportunity to leverage its offshore ? onsite mix of software services and closely integrate its development operations with evolving Web-enabled technologies.
