The info on FIT's equity investment is from the 10K Note 2: sec.gov Approximately $6.9 million of the Company's equity investment securities at November 28, 1998 consists of a portfolio of Standard and Poor's 100 ("S&P 100") common stocks, the fair value of which varies consistently with changes in the S&P 100 index. To hedge against fluctuations in the market value of the portfolio, the Company has purchased short-term S&P 100 index put options and sold short-term S&P 100 call options. At November 28, 1998, the notional amounts of the put and call options were $6.8 million and $6.9 million, respectively.
