I hear ya! I don't think Ridge is to fault though he still has the representatives from the state who scream about putting more money into Philly. I thought the Philly local income tax was for Philly only, nothing goes to state ? Philly also implemented a hotel tax , and a liquor tax in the last few years. It has the same problems as all major cities perhaps we should look at eliminating real estate taxes and move toward an income tax. At least this method would help level the money going into schools. Next we need some type of local(state) county, control over the school system. I get a better chance to go to town meetings, and see my state rep and work on campaigns to try to make a difference. In Washington I have no chance of fighting the pork or favorite programs. imo
