Trump can say things that are TOO stupid... When you even mention the idea of "negotiating down" the National Debt you threaten the Full Faith and Credit of the United States. The only reason our interest rates are so low is that our lenders are ASSURED that that the U.S. will PAY. I haven't seen him make those comments but they've been reported enough that I'm pretty sure he made them.
