IMO this is not an appropriate measure. It would be fine if you just buy the stock and never sell it. Who does this ?

More fundamentally, do you make more money with :

- a C$CO-like stock
that goes up in a straight line and you never really know when to buy / sell

or

- a more "cyclical" stock like INTC. There I know EXACTLY when to buy, and that's when Kurlak, ML, Danny_boy, Jerry S., whoever comes up with either a downgrade, some bearish remarks or the promise "things
are really different this time". As to when to sell, oh well I am a simple guy who calculates the difference of what I get,minus what I paid for. If this works out 20 % or so, I am happy.
