All this talk about undeclared shorts on the VSE being 10 times the declared is an Urban Legend. The VSE is now so highly regulated and computerized it just aint possible to go naked short anymore.

If there are 98,000 declared shorts, there are probably around 98,000 shares short. When a stock like WSP has a huge run-up, the MM's tend to sell on the way up, create cash and support the stock as it declines from its speculative highs.

In addition, those holding warrants and options will sell their free trading paper into the rally and hang onto their warrants and options. It's more like a hedge than a short.

Also, what tends to spook investors as much as "salting theories" is outlandish bullish claims that some here on the thread have been making lately. It taints the stock.
